Mellowtype Production is an independent media studio founded in 2013. We work with ambitious brands, artists and editorial teams to make films that punch above their weight — at every budget tier.
Our team is intentionally small. We staff up around the deliverable: cinematographers, colorists, sound designers, motion artists — only the right hands for the work. The result is a studio that ships like a senior agency at a fraction of the overhead.
We've shipped 240+ projects, generated over 38M views, and collected a respectable stack of awards along the way — but we measure success by how often clients call us back for the next one.
